Recently I have been going through a lot of change in my religious beliefs. I’ve accepted the idea of Reincarnation, accepted that you don’t have to be a “Christian” to go to Heaven, and accepted that neither Heaven, nor Hell, are forever. In other words, I have become what pretty much ALL Christians today would call a Heretic. Wonderful. But, Yeshua was called a Heretic, so I guess I should be proud.
Anyways. Changing my beliefs has been a long and painful process, which almost made me lose my faith in Yeshua completely. I was asking questions like “Why would a loving god allow anyone to spend eternity in Hell?”, “Why would God send non-Christians who truly love Him to burn, instead of bringing them to Heaven?”, “Why would Christ say ‘If I be lifted up then I will draw all unto me!’ if he did not mean it?”. The answer I came to with each question was “He wouldn’t.” And so I found myself being unable to believe the New Testament anymore, unable to believe the Bible at all, because I was positive that it said that all non-Christians went to Hell, which I knew COULDN’T be the words of a loving God. Then I found Vladimir Antonov’s book The Original Teachings of Jesus Christ. In this book Vladimir Antonov shows that the exclusivist teachings of the orthodox Church (that includes Orthodox, Catholics, and Protestants) are not the teachings of the original Yeshua, but a perversion of them. He shows that Yeshua taught Love for all beings (human and animal, incarnate and non-incarnate), and that everyone can achieve Unity with God, not just those that follow Him. He uses the New Testament and the Apocryphal books to show that God truly is Love, and that it is by becoming Love that we are able to become One with Him.
This book saved my faith, and I ask any Christian (or non-Christian) who has been asking the same questions I asked to read it.
LOL!

I wouldn’t want to get pregnant
I don’t really know how that’s possible, since I’m male, but I don’t want to find out. REBLOG!

Alright, I found the notebook with all my newexo information in it. I’ll be posting a wordlist and basic instructions on how to construct sentences soon, along with some examples.

…the notebook that contained all my newexo information. —_— I really should have backed it up on the computer.
So sadly, I won’t be posting a newexo wordlist or grammar anytime soon. Possibly never, if I can’t find that notebook. But perhaps it’s for the better, newexo wasn’t really put together all that well anyways. I was able to learn some from it though, and my future conlangs will benefit from the newexo experiment.
Anyways, since I don’t have anything really awesome to post at the moment, who wants to hear some Moonlight Sonata? All of you, right? Here ya go:

Tumblr says I have 27 followers. But it only lists 21 of them. Huh? Are they incapable of showing more than 21?

It is said in the Bible that humans are made in God’s image. But when you look at them (humans), they don’t look all the godlike. Quite the opposite, really. So, how could these creatures POSSIBLY be made in God’s image when it is also clear that they are animals? Hmm… Perhaps it’s the creativity? Humans are the only animals that invent stuff, right? Well…

These are extremely basic, but they are tools none the less, and SOMEBODY (a chimpanzee) had to invent them.
Okay then, what about artwork?

Okay, so it’s no Michelangelo or Van Gogh, but it’s still an animal painting. And doing better than Picasso, in my opinion.
So, humans are not the only ones that invent, or make art. How about… SPEECH! That’s got to be it, we’re the only ones that talk to each other! Sure, apes can sign, but they’re taught by humans, so it doesn’t count. So it must be speech that sets us apart from the animals. Right?

Alright then… It’s not inventions, artwork, or speech. How about forgiveness? Go kick a dog. Then try petting him. He’ll forgive you a lot faster than any human.
So what is it about human beings which make them the image of God? Well, there’s a few different things, I think. First, human beings are rulers. Seriously. We rule the world. “What about natural disasters?” you ask. Google HAARP.
Humans are also one of the few animals on this planet that make a lifelong bond with their mate. Yes, we have divorce, but divorce is the human way of escaping from the problems that come with having a mate. It also happens to be a human invention. So it doesn’t count. Anyways, humans make a lifelong bond with their mate, which, according to the Bible, results in them becoming one flesh. Eh? One flesh? Seriously. Ever seen those couples that have been together since the stone ages (exaggeratin’ here, but you get the idea)? Notice how they sometimes seem to become to halves of a whole? That’s the idea. They’re still individuals, but they are individual parts of a whole which is called wedlock. They begin to almost have one spirit (not the same as one soul). Guess who else is multiple beings which are part of a single organism (used for lack of a better word)? God. Or, Elohim, if you want to get technical. See, Elohim consists of (at least) two people, Father and Son, who are joined together by a single Holy Spirit. No, they aren’t married, but marriage can be considered a PICTURE of what the Elohim is.
Not good enough? Okay. Let’s get theoretical (yes, I know, the idea of married people becoming one being is theoretical as well, but this is even MORE theoretical). Religions worldwide (religions all around the world, not all religions worldwide) assume that humans have a soul. The concept differs slightly, depending on what area the religion originated in, but it is still recognizable as the soul idea. So, what if we do? It’s just our mind, right? Generated by our brain, I’d guess. Or maybe… Perhaps the Soul and the Body are two different beings? Hmmm… But, what joins them together? I mean, what stops the soul from just floating off, leaving the body to it’s own devices? Perhaps the soul is trapped in the body! We’ve got to free it! *mass suicides take place globally* …Ummm… No. Wrong idea. See, the Soul is a separate being (theoretically), but it is part of the whole organism known as the Human. I believe that Soul and the Body are joined together by a third entity (whether this is a conscious being or not isn’t the topic of this blog post, but I don’t think it is), known as the Spirit. Hmmm… Soul, Body, Spirit… Father, Son, Holy Spirit… Veeery interesting. A picture of the Elohim (a better term than Trinity, in my opinion, because it leaves room for us to be wrong about the exact nature of the Elohim and still be correct, at least partially.). Image of God…
Okay, still not convinced? Alrighty… It is said that the Elohim created our world using only His/Their words. Human’s words alter the way they think, the way they view reality, and some believe they may alter reality itself. I won’t give you a link for this one. Just start googling “the power of words”, “words alter reality”, “words cause natural disasters”, and related keywords.
Until next time,
Alexander
